you can be closer to god...
you can't wait around to take advantage of opportunities...
you have to react when the moment of decision is at hand...
I find it hard not to spend time looking backwards at various memories wondering, "what if I had ___..."
the problem with that, I think... is being distracted by those thoughts when the next opportunity appears.
